  • In Morocco, CARTIER SAADA publishes its H1 2019 financial indicators showing a 37% increase in revenues to MAD 88.9m, a 7% rise in EBITDA to MAD 9m and a 34% growth in net income to MAD 1.9m;
  • In Tunisia, CARTHAGE CEMENT publishes its H1 2019 financial statements showing a 6.4% improvement in its turnover to TND 121.53m and a loss of TND -27.91m (compared to TND -47.39m a year earlier);
  • In Egypt, BANK AUDI EGYPT aims to increase its small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) loan portfolio to EGP 5bn by the end of 2019;
  • Among the covered African markets, the Egyptian Stock Exchange recorded the highest daily performance (+1.22%), whereas Kenya Stock Exchange pointed the lowest one (-0.65%).
