BKB Weekly Letter 12 21 18 : End of the week in negative territory

  • A MASI down by 0.26% to 11,176 points and a MADEX decreasing by 0.24% to 9,089.46 points;
  • The Central Market represents 71.4% of the total daily exchange, amounting to MAD 178.9m, while the OTC Market includes an operation about COSUMAR;
  • WAFA ASSURANCE recorded the largest increase appreciating by 4.05% to MAD 4,240 while STROC INDUSTRIE posted the largest decline thus losing 7.55% to MAD 24.5;
  • AIR TRAFFIC: 10.4% increase in traffic to 20,628,378 passengers at the end of November 2018;
  • STEEL: Extension for 3 years of the safeguard measure applied on imports of wire rod and rebar;
  • BCP: Closing of the MAD 2bn subordinated bond issuance with a subscription rate of 13x
