  • In Morocco, BAM announced a progression of the profit realized in 2020 to MAD 1.68bn, an increase of +1% compared to 2019, according to the business press;
  • In Tunisia, SERVICOM’s consolidated revenues for the first half of 2021 amount to TND 4.9m;
  • Egypt’s bank deposits in the local currency increased by EGP 376.104bn to EGP 4.036trn during the first half (H1) of 2021, according to the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE);
  • Strong daily performance was recorded by the Casablanca Stock Exchange (+1.05%) on this first session of the week while the Nairobi Stock Exchange dived into the red (-0.93%).
