African Markets Review 02 20 2020

  • In Morocco, CDM convened its shareholders to the AGM of 03/27/20 to approve the distribution of a DPS of MAD 18.7 payable on 06/19/2020;
  • In Tunisia, the decline in ELECTROSTAR's activity continued in 2019 with an annual turnover down by 75% to TND 9.4m, against TND 37.5m in 2018;
  • In Egypt, TELECOM EGYPT posted consolidated net profits of EGP 4.4bn, compared to net profits of EGP 3.3bn in the same period a year ago;
  • Among the covered African markets, Tunis Stock Exchange recorded the highest daily performance (+0.16%), whereas BRVM Stock Exchange pointed the lowest one (-0.73%).
