Last week already two companies of our Consumer sample, namely Hugo Boss and BIC, warned of weaker sales and earnings for 2019, mainly because of poor US retail trends over the third quarter. As a matter of fact, the US is increasingly attracting investors’ attention at a time when more and more economists are predicting a US recession by 2021.
