Luxury & Fashion NIKE Q3 FY22 earnings topped CS expectations and China reassured somewhat

Yesterday evening, NIKE unveiled its Q3 earnings for the period ending 28th Feb: sales came in at USD10.87bn, or 2% above the CS expectations (USD10.61bn).China thanks to strong momentum in international markets, including a less steep decline in Greater China (-8% FX-n vs. -24% in Q2). In light of a fluid macro environment, management left FY22 sales outlook unchanged and refrained from providing a detailed guidance for FY23 before the Q4 FY22 earning release in mid-June.
