Pharmaceuticals | Covid-19: Will pandemic turn into seasonal outbreak?

The ongoing COVID-19 (SAR-CoV-2) pandemic has already recorded 2.1 million confirmed cases of infection and claimed 142 thousand deaths worldwide. Moreover, experience of such countries as China, Italy, Spain, France, United-States showed that even in the highly developed countries the healthcare system does have sufficient capacity to combat such a pandemic. As a result, the compelled quarantine measures were implemented around the world, staling the economy and leading to the worst economic crisis seen since World War II. After achieving an adequate control of transmission, the quarantine measures could be gradually lifted. However, now, many epidemiologists expect the resurgence of infection (China and South Korea being already live examples).

Since 1996, Bryan, Garnier & Co has been growing with an absolute conviction that the investment banking landscape would experience a major revolution: most of the large local generalist banking groups will disappear to the benefit of a handful of global powerhouses, and an emerging group of independent, highly specialised boutique investment banks.
