TRANSGENE | BUY | EUR3.5 R&D day goes viral

Transgene held an R&D day and showcased its two platforms – therapeutic cancer vaccines and oncolytic viral therapies. We see both approaches coming of age with next-generation therapies building upon the earlier setbacks. In our view, Transgene’s Invir.IO platform, with IV administration optionality, could land additional partnership opportunities for the company as well as data-driven catalysts in the near- to mid-term. We also expect the company’s cancer vaccine franchise to deliver potential catalysts in Q4 – H1 2023 and to support our positive look on the stock. We reiterate out TP of EUR3.5 with BUY rating.
