Media Alert: Adobe Poised to Achieve Pay Parity in U.S. and India

At its annual Adobe & Women Leadership Summit, Adobe Systems Incorporated (Nasdaq:ADBE) today announced it will pay women $1.00 for every $1.00 earned by male employees in the U.S. by the end of this fiscal year, up from 99 cents a year ago. As previously announced last year, there is no wage gap between white and non-white employees.

In India, Adobe announced today that female employees are now earning 99 percent of what male employees earn and the company is working to close the remaining gap. Adobe’s U.S. and India employee populations combined comprise 80 percent of the company’s global workforce.

More details on today’s announcement are available on Adobe’s blog. Adobe is committed to pay parity, consistent with industry best practices, both in the U.S. and globally, and will update its pay data annually as part of the Adobe corporate responsibility report.
