Aerohive Networks® (NYSE:HIVE), the fastest growing enterprise Wi-Fi vendor, today announced the hiring of Ron Gill as its new Vice President of Americas Sales, reporting to Senior Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations Tom Wilburn.

• Prior to joining Aerohive, Ron served as Vice President-Americas Enterprise Sales at Ruckus Wireless. In this position, Ron led the Ruckus sales effort in North America from March 2008 through fall of 2016. Latin America was added to his responsibility in the summer of 2012. Under Ron, the Ruckus team experienced great growth and success, which led to a successful public offering in 2012 and eventual purchase by Brocade in spring of 2016.
• Ron’s diverse go-to market experience is based on building high-growth, scalable, indirect sales teams and channel structures while driving direct touch with end customers.
• Prior to joining Ruckus, Ron held similar senior sales leadership roles at Tropos Networks and Alvarion, Inc., and in the 1990s led worldwide sales for Asante Technologies.
• Ron is a graduate of San Diego State University with a B.S. degree in Marketing.
