Alliance Continues Gaining Traction by Expanding into Another Top 20 Media Market

Alliance MMA, Inc. ("Alliance MMA" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: AMMA), a professional mixed martial arts (MMA) company that brings together the best regional productions to build the next generation of MMA champions, announced today that Xtreme Fighting Championships (XFC) Founder John Prisco has joined the Company to spearhead its promotional debut in the Tampa, Florida market.

John Prisco comes aboard the Alliance MMA team boasting a plethora of experience, promoting combat sports events in the state of Florida since 2006. His former MMA promotion, XFC, produced 40 events over an 8-year span, some of which boasted record-breaking crowds of more than 10,000 fans in attendance. XFC’s popularity with fans ultimately resulted in a multi-year contract with AXS TV, a media partnership between founder Mark Cuban, AEG, Ryan Seacrest Media, Creative Artists Agency and CBS. First airing in 2012, AXS TV Fights broadcast 30 XFC events, both nationally and internationally, before John sold the promotion in 2014.
