University of Phoenix® School of Advanced Studies Announces Doctoral Journey Scholarship

University of Phoenix® School of Advanced Studies will award five full-tuition doctoral scholarships to applicants looking to reach their advanced education goals. The School’s doctoral degrees are focused in three areas: business, education and healthcare. Each scholarship will allow a prospective student the opportunity to earn a doctoral degree at University of Phoenix.

“This scholarship recognizes potential students for their commitment to higher education by providing an opportunity to continue their education,” said Dr. Hinrich Eylers, executive dean for the School of Advanced Studies at University of Phoenix. “The impact doctoral students are able to make in the communities in which they live and work cannot be overstated, and we are proud to help these students achieve their educational goals.”

To be eligible, students must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a master’s degree from an accredited institution with a GPA of 3.0 or higher at the time of scholarship application submission
  • Must be a first-time University of Phoenix student
  • Must not be currently enrolled, nor in the process of enrolling, at University of Phoenix

Applicants may apply through Feb. 7, 2017. The scholarship is open to the first 150 qualified applications that meet the defined eligibility criteria, and may close early once all qualified applications are submitted. Scholarship recipients will be announced April 4, 2017.
