Axalta Coating Systems (NYSE: AXTA), a leading global manufacturer of liquid and powder coatings, hosted its inaugural Supplier of the Year Awards event February 25-26 in Daytona, Florida. Axalta developed the awards program to recognize the critical role that suppliers play in the company’s ability to deliver superior products and services to its more than 100,000 customers around the world. To emphasize the exceptional performance of the awardees, the celebration coincided with the grand opening of Axalta’s Center Injector at the Daytona International Speedway. Representatives from each of the honored suppliers were invited to participate in activities at Axalta’s injector on Sunday, following the awards ceremony and reception on Saturday evening.

Axalta’s Center Injector at the Daytona International Speedway is one of five expanded and redesigned entrances that lead fans to a series of escalators and elevators, transporting them to three different concourse levels.
