Black Box Corporation (NASDAQ: BBOX), a leading technology solutions provider, announced today that its Board of Directors has elected Ms. Cynthia J. Comparin to the Board. As with all directors, her term will expire at the next annual meeting of stockholders at which time it is expected that she will stand for election by the stockholders.
Ms. Comparin is the founder and CEO of Animato Technologies Corporation, a private company providing business and technology solutions to enterprise clients for almost 20 years. Prior to establishing Animato, Ms. Comparin created and was President of Alltel’s Enterprise Network Services Division, providing consulting, integration and operations services to worldwide customers. Before Alltel, Ms. Comparin was Vice President and General Manager for Nortel’s Network Transformation Services Division, General Manager of Latin America for Recognition International, a global technology company, and spent ten years in various US-based and international management positions at EDS.
Ms. Comparin holds a BBA in finance from The University of Texas at Austin and has completed management programs at The Wharton School of Business and Harvard University.
