Citi Announces the Appointment of Alison Harding-Jones to Head of EMEA M&A and Vice Chairman of EMEA Corporate and Investment Banking

Citi today announced that Alison Harding-Jones will join the firm as Head of EMEA M&A and Vice Chairman of EMEA Corporate and Investment Banking. In this role, Harding-Jones will focus on growing M&A market share across the EMEA sectors and countries. She will be based in London.

“We are thrilled to welcome Alison to Citi,” said Raymond J. McGuire, Global Head of Corporate and Investment Banking at Citi. “With her long track record of building successful M&A practices, her deep M&A product and sector knowledge, and her trusted advisory relationships, she will be a strong asset to our team and a key part of our growth strategy.”

The addition of Harding-Jones, who brings nearly 30 years of M&A and investment banking experience, is part of Citi’s strategy to continue to expand its global M&A share. The market in EMEA remains a significant growth opportunity for Citi, and Harding-Jones will lead that growth initiative.

Harding-Jones joins Citi from UBS, where she most recently served as Head of Asia Pacific M&A. Over the past 28 years with UBS she has held numerous roles, including Head of Emerging Markets, Co-Head of EMEA M&A, Head of Emerging Markets M&A and Head of Emerging European M&A.
