Citi Named Placement Agent of the Year by Private Debt Investor

Citi was named Placement Agent of the Year by Private Debt Investor (PDI), a leading international publication covering the world’s private debt markets. The designation includes two separate wins regionally in both Europe and in the Americas, which encompasses the U.S., Canada, and Latin America.

The winners of the annual global PDI awards are chosen by the magazine's readership, which represents over 23,000 across the globe, with institutional investors representing the largest segment. The publication annually recognizes the best and brightest industry participants helping to shape private debt markets.

“It is an honor to be recognized as a solution provider to our pension and insurance clients across the credit spectrum including private markets,” said Nithin Johnson, Head of Americas for Citi’s International Fund Distribution. “We strive to continue providing strategic value and deepening relationships with both our institutional allocator and fund manager clients.”

“Our business model continues to evolve as we further invest and grow the platform globally,” said Peter Arnold, Global Head of Citi’s International Fund Distribution. “This recognition underscores our efforts to extend our core offerings, and we thank our clients for their ongoing support.”

The global PDI awards are the only independent industry awards voted for the industry, by the industry.

Citi, the leading global bank, has approximately 200 million customer accounts and does business in more than 160 countries and jurisdictions. Citi provides consumers, corporations, governments and institutions with a broad range of financial products and services, including consumer banking and credit, corporate and investment banking, securities brokerage, transaction services, and wealth management.

Vermilion Compass: Weekly Equity Strategy

Momentum Starting to Wane? We remain near-term bullish since our 4/22/25 Compass, and our intermediate-term out-look remains bullish as well (as of our 5/14/25 Compass). It is important to note that markets do not always maintain their upward trajectory at the same pace that we have seen over the last 2-month. We would welcome pullbacks and corrective action to take place. Our nearterm bullish outlook will remain in place long as the S&P 500 (SPX), Nasdaq 100 (QQQ), and Russell 2000 (IWM) are ab...
