In this new role, he will be responsible for further expanding the global footprint of Citi’s low latency execution platform and continue to strengthen the firms’ execution offering ahead of MIFID II implementation in January 2018. He will be based in New York and report jointly to Adam Herrmann, Global Head of Prime Finance and Armando Diaz, Global Head of Cash Trading.

Mr. Chippas has more than 20 years of experience in low-latency electronic execution across a variety of management positions. These include his role as Chief Operating Officer at Axoni, Chief Executive Officer of Citadel Technology, Global Head of Quantitative Prime Services for Barclays, as well as the North American Head of Autobahn Equity Electronic Trading Services at Deutsche Bank.
