Civitas Solutions Expands Post-Acute Specialty Rehabilitation Services to Utah with Acquisition of Country Life Care Center

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Civitas Solutions, Inc. (NYSE: CIVI) today announced that it has completed the acquisition of Country Life Care Center (“Country Life”), a rehabilitation and post-acute care facility located in Riverton, Utah.

With a total of 36 private living spaces, Country Life specializes in providing short- and long-term medical care for individuals who have experienced a catastrophic injury or illness, including traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries. Country Life generated revenues of approximately $9 million for the 12-month period prior to the acquisition.

Nardella noted that Country Life, like Civitas’ CareMeridian 4kids 35-bed program in Las Vegas, Nevada, has developed an expertise in serving pediatric patients. One of the three wings of the Country Life Care Center is dedicated to care for children with medically-complex conditions. Later this year, CareMeridian expects to open a new 24-bed program in Reno, Nevada, half of which will be devoted to pediatric patients. Altogether, the programs in Las Vegas and Reno, NV and Riverton, UT will establish CareMeridian 4kids as a leading provider of post-acute pediatric care in the western United States.
