The DISA UVDS architecture is a next-generation FMV processing, exploitation and dissemination (PED) system that provides persistent, focused, real-time, operational information flow to tactical and enterprise end users worldwide. Its six globally dispersed hubs provide dynamic, proximity-based access to real-time FMV through the unified video portals. Its robust data agnostic network connects multiple Department of Defense (DoD) Gateways, Combatant Commands, military services, operation centers and intelligence agencies.

“We are pleased to extend our partnership with DISA for another five years,” said Mike Twyman, president of Cubic Mission Solutions. “Warfighters will be able to rapidly find the sensor information they need, apply the latest AI/ML technology for improved exploitation and disseminate their end products faster than ever before.”

“This award ensures the continued 24x7 operation of the DISA UVDS, an enterprise system that has proven itself essential to users worldwide that rely on real-time FMV to perform their mission,” said Bradford Powell, vice president and general manager of C2ISR Solutions, Cubic Mission Solutions. “We’re excited to continue our partnership with DISA as we work together to meet the growing demand for AISR FMV.”

As part of the agreement, Cubic will also continue its work with DISA to integrate UVDS with emerging cloud and cross-domain technologies.

The original UVDS contract was awarded to TeraLogics in 2008, with a competitive follow-on contract awarded in 2014. TeraLogics was acquired by Cubic in 2015.
