First Internet Bank Recognized as Employer of Choice in Indiana

First Internet Bank today announced it has been named one of the “Best Places to Work in Indiana”. The Bank is one of 21 organizations recognized in the medium-sized (75-249 employees) company category as part of the initiative dedicated to identifying and recognizing the best employers in the state.

Top companies in the state were determined through employer reports and comprehensive employee surveys. Three-quarters of the assessment was driven by an anonymous employee survey to measure the employee experience. The remaining quarter evaluated workplace policies, practices, benefits and demographics. This is the twelfth year for the Best Places to Work in Indiana program and the third year First Internet Bank has made the list.

“We’re pleased to be acknowledged as an Indiana employer of choice for the third time,” said David Becker, President and CEO. “Knowing that the feedback of First Internet Bank employees is a significant factor in our selection for the award makes it even more gratifying.”

“Best Places to Work in Indiana not only recognizes our state’s outstanding employers, but also sets a high standard for other Hoosier companies by encouraging them to realize the importance of evaluating their own workplaces,” said Indiana Chamber President Kevin Brinegar. “It is clear that a positive work environment makes employees more engaged in their job and in their company, which is a win for everyone.”

First Internet Bank previously appeared on the statewide list in 2013 and 2016, and has also been recognized as a “Top Workplace” by The Indianapolis Star for three consecutive years, and has earned national honors as a “Best Bank to Work For” by American Banker four years in a row.
