Jonathan Tepperman Named Editor-In-Chief of Foreign Policy

Graham Holdings Company (NYSE:GHC) announced today that Jonathan Tepperman will become editor-in-chief of Foreign Policy Magazine (FP) and FP.com in late September.

Tepperman was the managing editor of Foreign Affairs. He is the author of "The Fix: How Nations Survive and Thrive in a World in Decline," which The New York Times Book Review called "An indispensable handbook…”, and was on the Financial Times “Best Business Books of 2016 Longlist”. His 2016 TED talk, based on the book, has been viewed almost one million times.

Tepperman was speechwriter to former U.S. Ambassador Morris B. Abram in Geneva, Switzerland. He also worked at Newsweek and has written for The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Atlantic and several other publications.

Tepperman earned a BA in English literature from Yale University and law degrees from University of Oxford and New York University. He serves on the Halifax International Security Forum as vice chairman and is a fellow at the New York Institute of Humanities.
