Interlink Electronics, a leader in the field of Human-Machine Interface solutions, today announced the addition of Dr. John Heitzinger to its executive team as the Director of Strategic Partnerships. Dr. Heitzinger will focus on accelerating the adoption of new technical solutions in the Human-Machine Interface space by identifying and implementing partnerships with leading technology companies, universities, industry consortia and government agencies. These partnerships will drive additional technology and product development efforts and expand the product and sensor system solution offerings of Interlink. He will also play a key role in evaluating acquisition targets as part of the company’s growth strategy.
Dr. Heitzinger is a veteran of the electronics industry working in the semiconductor, printed and flexible hybrid electronics segments. He has been a driving force in technology development throughout his career working with best-of-breed organizations across the globe.

Dr. Heitzinger earned B.S. degrees in physics and chemistry from the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point and a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Colorado – Boulder.
