Itron, Inc. With this move, Itron is enhancing its already significant commitment to support and promote the Wi-SUN Alliance in its mission to “advance seamless connectivity by promoting IEEE 802.15.4g standard based interoperability for global and regional markets.”
The Wi-SUN Alliance provides a forum for global collaboration to achieve smart city and smart utility communications network interoperability by creating industry-agreed standards and a robust testing and certification program. It also provides marketing resources and collateral to increase awareness of its mission.
