Itron, Inc. The award recognizes Itron for its consistently high standards for delivering customer value and industry growth in the Asia-Pacific region.
With Itron’s AMI network, developing countries in the Asia-Pacific region are able to easily integrate distributed energy resources (DERs) to meet growing power demand. In particular, the award recognized Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA), to deploy Itron’s AMI solution and more than 100,000 smart meters in the City of Pattaya. Itron’s solution also equips utilities to confront other challenges such as electricity theft, revenue loss and inaccurate meter reads.
