Chase Pay and Atom Tickets Team Up to Deliver a Better Moviegoing Experience

Atom Tickets, the innovative mobile-first movie ticketing platform, will integrate Chase Pay® as its preferred method of payment early next year.

Atom Tickets’ customers will be able to use Chase Pay in the Atom Ticket app and website to pay for tickets and pre-order concessions from over 15,000 U.S. screens as well as to purchase movie-related merchandise.

Atom Tickets makes going to the movies faster, easier and more social than ever, and provides a first-of-its-kind VIP experience that lets users bypass lines at the theater.

“Atom Tickets has created an entertainment platform that’s valuable and engaging. By combining that with Chase Pay’s seamless payment process, we will give customers an experience that’ll be easy to use again and again,” said Teresa Walker, Executive Director, Chase Commerce Solutions.

In addition to pre-ordering tickets and movie snacks, the user-friendly platform lets moviegoers coordinate movie outings with friends while allowing each person to pay separately with just a few simple taps.

“Our number one goal is always convenience, and that includes letting users pay how they want,” said Ameesh Paleja, CEO and co-founder of Atom Tickets. “Atom is the only movie ticketing platform that allows users to plan a movie night with friends and pay separately, and Chase Pay brings it all together as the preferred method of payment.”

In addition to Chase, Atom is working with top movie studios like Disney, 20th Century Fox and Lionsgate, and major movie theater chains like AMC Theatres and Regal Cinemas.

“This is perfect collaboration to deliver a mobile-first experience because we are combining our drive to transform the moviegoing experience with Chase’s payment innovation,” said Matthew Bakal, Executive Chairman and co-founder of Atom Tickets.

How Atom Tickets Works:

Atom Tickets re-imagines the most convenient way for users to plan a night out at the movies. The free app and website provide relevant reviews, trailers and synopses to help customers make the best decision on what to see. Moviegoers may then invite friends (via Facebook or their contact lists) to purchase their own tickets to join them. Atom offers seamless ordering of tickets and concessions from any Android or iOS phone. At the theater, users go directly to the ushers and concession counters, where they simply scan a QR code at tablet kiosks. Paper tickets and IOUs have been replaced by Atom’s innovative platform, which keeps all plans, messaging, payment and tickets in one place.

About Atom Tickets:

Atom Tickets is the first-of-its-kind theatrical mobile ticketing platform. Through its patent pending recommendation and personalization technology, Atom Tickets allows consumers to search for films instantly, invite friends, buy tickets, pre-order concessions and more. Enabled on over 15,000 screens across the U.S., the platform’s innovative marketing capabilities help studios, exhibitors and brands maximize revenue opportunities. Atom Tickets is available as a free app in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store and online at atomtickets.com.
