JPMorgan Chase Names Tim Berry as Head of Global Government Relations

JPMorgan Chase (NYSE:JPM) announced today the appointment of Tim Berry as Head of Global Government Relations, overseeing government relations and public policy functions for the company. Mr. Berry will partner with the leaders of the company’s business lines to shape a coordinated and consistent agenda to help identify, drive and support pro growth public policies around the world.

Mr. Berry’s significant private and public sector experience includes serving as the Chief of Staff to two Majority Leaders of the U.S. House of Representatives, managing large teams and developing policy and legislative agendas. In the private sector, he was the Vice President for Government Relations at Time Warner and most recently Executive Vice President of Axios, a new media company.

“Tim is a proven advocate for informed public policy,” said Jamie Dimon, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of JPMorgan Chase. “As a company, we have a responsibility to engage and collaborate around solutions that promote economic growth and opportunity for the people in the communities where we do business,” Dimon added.

He has a long history of bipartisanship and a proven ability to navigate challenging political and legislative landscapes to deliver results,” added Peter Scher, Head of Corporate Responsibility and Chairman of the Washington, D.C. Region.

Mr. Berry will report directly to Peter Scher and will be located in Washington, D.C. He will begin his employment with JPMorgan Chase in early September.
