Students and teachers at Alabama Virtual Academy at Eufaula City Schools (ALVA-ECS), will start the 2017-2018 school year on August 10. An online public school authorized by the Alabama State Department of Education and the Eufaula City Schools, ALVA-ECS is tuition-free and open for all K-12 students in Alabama. The virtual school offers a personalized approach to learning that ensures every student receives an excellent educational experience.
ALVA-ECS’s dedicated staff facilitate lessons during live, interactive online classes, and are also available to students by phone. Alabama-certified teachers lead courses in the core subjects of math, science, language arts and history, as well as electives, world languages and AP® courses at the high school level. Online planning and assessment tools and resources are complemented by hands-on materials from textbooks to telescopes.
