Insight School of Minnesota Opens Enrollment for 2017-18 School Year

Insight School of Minnesota (ISMN), an accredited, online public school, welcomes families with students in grades 6-12 who reside in Minnesota to enroll for the 2017-18 academic year. Offering full and part time options, ISMN provides a tuition-free education that offers an individualized approach to learning for students of every ability level, including a competency in helping students who are struggling academically.

ISMN offers an instructional program tailored to each student’s specific needs and wide variety of high school courses to help assure that each student is taught at the right level. Additionally, ISMN provides a high level of support for high school students through features like block scheduling, career and college planning, targeted remediation sessions, and other support services. ISMN teachers provide instruction and support, interacting with students and parents via email, web-based classrooms, and phone.

With its highly supportive approach, ISMN teachers and counselors work with students and their families to help them achieve success, both academically and personally. The online curriculum is bolstered by a Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) program and the attention of a Family Support Team, which works with students and their families to provide the extra help needed to enable students to succeed in school and beyond.

“Our curriculum and instruction is designed let our students discover their own learning style, motivate them, and help them get and stay on track,” said John Huber, head of school at Insight School of Minnesota. “We are fully invested in helping students who are struggling academically and are happy to provide an option that not only provides a top-notch education, but also addresses the real-life needs of each one of our students.”

Daily structure and lessons are provided through a stimulating online school environment. The online education model allows students to attend classes from home, where they can focus on their studies without distractions or peer pressure. ISMN teachers and counselors strive to form a partnership with each student’s Learning Coach (usually the parent or guardian) in order to closely monitor the student’s progress and identify areas that need more one-on-one attention.

ISMN is now accepting enrollments for the 2017-2018 school year. Parents are encouraged to attend one of the online information sessions hosted by the school each month. More information on ISMN and upcoming events can be found at http://mn.insightschools.net/.
