Keysight Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: KEYS) today announced a collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., a subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated, to enable the realization of 5G technologies. Keysight has a comprehensive suite of design and test tools to support chipset development for next-generation cellular devices.
Keysight’s new 5G network emulation solutions portfolio, supported by Keysight’s new UXM 5G wireless test platform, enables Qualcomm Technologies to validate the chipset technology and the higher-layer protocols needed for 5G. Keysight’s scalable solutions support sub-6 GHz and mm-Wave, which will provide Qualcomm Technologies insights into the performance of their ICs and overcome potential challenges that may surface in 5G trials.
