Mirantis and NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com) today announced that they would partner to offer fully managed Private OpenStack as a service in NTT Com Enterprise Cloud and its data center services across the globe. NTT Com, in becoming Mirantis’ first data center services partner, will offer Mirantis Managed OpenStack on NTT Com Enterprise Cloud’s Metal-as-a-Service. The partnership will offer customers global flexibility for off-premises deployments, a rapid on-ramp to OpenStack services without complexity, and alternatives for total cost of ownership reduction.

Mirantis Managed OpenStack is a managed private cloud based on industry-leading Mirantis OpenStack software. The offering gives customers 24x7 “as a service” operations by Mirantis and up to 99.99% SLAs on Mirantis’ 100 percent open source software and tooling.
NTT Com’s Enterprise Cloud, which leverages OpenStack in its core engineering design, serves global enterprises in their IT transformation journeys. Metal-as-a-Service delivers a fully automated on-demand service model and is natively connected to its own closed network.
