The fund intends to pay out substantially all of its net earnings to its shareholders as dividends and distributions. The fund may earn interest from debt securities. The fund will generally realize short-term capital gains or losses whenever it sells assets held for one year or less. The fund reserves the right to declare special distributions if, in its reasonable discretion, such action is necessary or advisable to preserve its status as a regulated investment company or to avoid imposition of income or excise taxes on undistributed income or realized gains.
