On Assignment, Inc. (NYSE: ASGN), a leading global provider of diversified staffing solutions, announced today that as part of an established executive development and succession planning program, Ted Hanson has been promoted to President of the Company. As President, Mr. Hanson will report to On Assignment’s Chief Executive Officer Peter Dameris and will be responsible for management of operations.
Commenting on the promotion Mr. Dameris said, “In his new role, Ted will be responsible for overseeing our business operations and supporting our strong high-performance culture. Over the last 18 years, Ted has been a key executive of On Assignment or its operating divisions. During that time, he has held increasingly higher levels of responsibility. Most recently he held the positions of Executive Vice President of On Assignment and President of our Lab Support unit.”

About Ted Hanson
Ted Hanson joined On Assignment as Chief Financial Officer of Apex Systems, which was acquired by the Company in May 2012. In January 2014, he was promoted to the role of President of Lab Support and in January 2016, he became an Executive Vice President of On Assignment. Mr. Hanson joined Apex Systems in November 1998 as Corporate Controller and became Chief Financial Officer in January 2001. He currently serves as a director of Virginia Commonwealth University’s Massey Cancer Center advisory board and as a director for the Virginia Tech Foundation board. Mr. Hanson holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Virginia Tech and a master of business administration degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.
