Aurify Brands Selects PAR Technology’s Cloud-Based Brink POS® Software and EverServ® 7700 Terminals for All Businesses

ParTech, Inc. (PAR), a leading global provider of point-of-sale (POS) and food safety solutions to the restaurant industry and wholly owned subsidiary of PAR Technology Corporation (NYSE:PAR), announced today that Aurify Brands has selected PAR's Brink POS® Software and PAR EverServ® 7700 Terminals for their 21 restaurant locations, with plans to install in all new stores, including a new brand, “Make Sandwich,” scheduled to open in Union Square, Manhattan, NY in October. Aurify’s businesses today include Melt Shop, The Little Beet and The Little Beet Table, Fields Good Chicken, and Five Guys Burgers and Fries.

Aurify Brands experienced frequent system crashes with their previous iPad-based POS solution, which strained IT resources and in-store management and, most importantly, negatively affected the customer experience. After an extensive search to replace their existing technology, Aurify chose to deploy a cloud-based POS solution from a reputable industry provider that could meet their unique requirements as a multi-store, multi-brand business.

"After a long process of vetting dozens of different POS solutions on the market, based on PAR’s reputation as a leading solution provider, we decided to do a beta test at our Fields Good Chicken locations," said Josh Morgan, Operating Partner at Aurify Brands. "We ran a nine-month pilot to confirm that the PAR solution with Brink POS, EverServ® terminals and a Kitchen Video Solution could meet our needs company-wide. They have exceeded our expectations."

The cloud-based software solution has enabled Aurify to eliminate the inconsistencies of a Wi-Fi based POS system, their leading point of failure in the restaurant while easing menu management and configuration across multiple brands. The Brink Kitchen Display Solution (KDS) has improved kitchen efficiency enabling staff to serve their guests faster as well as providing increased visibility to their operations, in real-time.

“We are pleased to have been selected as a technology partner by Aurify Brands; a company that has built a culture around recognizing opportunities to build ideas into businesses and businesses into brands,” said Karen E. Sammon, President and CEO of PAR Technology Corporation. "The flexibility and ease of deployment that the cloud-based design of Brink POS can provide is a great match for their unique business plan to continue to invest and grow original concepts that create memorable customer experiences. Brink continues to attract customers of all sizes and demonstrates the scalability of this nextgen technology. Whether an owner/operator has two locations or thousands of locations, Brink is the cloud-solution specifically designed to efficiently manage restaurant operations, including point-of-sale, loyalty, multi-unit management and enterprise reporting."
