Erik’s DeliCafé Selects PAR Technology’s Cloud-Based Brink POS® Software & EverServ® 500 POS Terminals for all Locations

ParTech, Inc. (PAR), a wholly owned subsidiary of PAR Technology Corporation (NYSE: PAR), and a leading global provider of point-of-sale (POS) and food safety solutions to the restaurant industry, today announced that Erik’s DeliCafé has selected PAR’s Cloud-Based Brink POS® Software and EverServ® 500 POS terminals for all of their 32 locations throughout Santa Cruz County, the Bay Area, Monterey Peninsula, and Roseville.

Erik’s DeliCafé, founded in 1973 by Erik Johnson in Scotts Valley, specializes in high-quality sandwiches, slow-simmered and hand crafted soups, made to order fresh salads, and bakery goods made from scratch.

With a strong commitment to their guests and growing the brand, Erik’s DeliCafé was looking to replace their current POS with new technology that would support improved business efficiency, a better customer experience, and a provider that would be a partner for years to come.

"We evaluated some lower cost tablet based solutions, but realized as a 32 store chain we needed a more reliable, enterprise grade technology platform that could support our business. PAR's reputation and long-term presence in the industry made this a no-brainer" said Brian E. Johnson, Vice President & General Counsel, Erik's DeliCafé.

Having a partner that is dependable and could support the needs of a fast-paced, multi-unit business was also a priority for Erik’s DeliCafé. “Not having to worry about following up with support after a second or third email that is not responded to is a major bonus. We know when we contact support we will get a reply in a timely manner,” added Brian E. Johnson.

“The focus that Erik’s DeliCafé has regarding their guests and the quality of their food aligns with PAR’s commitment to our customers and products,” commented Paul Rubin, Senior Vice President, POS Products & Engineering, ParTech, Inc. “We are proud that Erik’s DeliCafé chose PAR based on our commitment to Customer Success and the ability of the Brink solution and EverServ hardware to support their businesses growth. We look forward to supporting Erik’s DeliCafé for years to come as they continue to provide delicious, family recipes to their guests.”

Vermilion Short Shots: Technically Vulnerable Stocks

Short Shots is a collection of technically vulnerable charts culled from the Negative Inflecting and Toppy columns within our Weekly Compass report or from various technical screening processes. The charts contained in this report have developed concerning technical patterns that suggest further price deterioration is likely. For these reasons Short Shots can also be a great source of ideas for investors interested in short-selling candidates.
