RLJ Lodging Trust (the “Company”) (NYSE: RLJ) today announced that, due to the public health impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and in the interest of protecting the well-being of its shareholders, employees and communities, its Annual Meeting of Shareholders (the “Annual Meeting”) will be held in a virtual meeting format only. The meeting is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time on Friday, May 1, 2020.
As described in the Company’s previously distributed proxy materials for the Annual Meeting, shareholders at the close of business on March 18, 2020 are entitled to participate in the Annual Meeting. Shareholders may attend the Annual Meeting via a live internet webcast, which will be available at the following address: . To participate, shareholders will need to enter the control number found on their proxy card, voting instruction form or notice that was previously received, as well as the meeting code, which is RLJ2020. Further instructions on how to participate in and vote at the virtual Annual Meeting are available at the same virtual meeting website.
Online access to the webcast will open 30 minutes prior to the start of the Annual Meeting. Participants are encouraged to access the meeting in advance of the designated start time to test their connection. The Company urges shareholders to vote and submit proxies in advance of the Annual Meeting by one of the methods described in the proxy materials for the annual meeting.
