SAIC Awarded $48 Million Task Order by the National Institute of Mental Health

The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) awarded Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) a task order to continue to support the full range of information technology (IT) services necessary for the centralized planning, implementation, and management support of the NIMH technology environment.

The NIMH Software Development and IT Services single-award task order has a one-year base period of performance, four one-year options, and a total award value of approximately $48 million, if all options are exercised. Work will be performed at the NIMH Rockville, Maryland locations.

NIMH is the lead federal agency for research on mental disorders. NIMH is one of the 27 institutes and centers that make up the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the largest biomedical research agency in the world. NIH is part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Awarded under the NIH CIO-SP3 Government-wide Acquisition Contract, the task order includes services, such as desktop support, infrastructure support and custom software development, maintenance, and enhancement.
