SES S.A. (Euronext Paris:SESG) (LuxX:SESG), the world-leading satellite operator, today announced a multi-year agreement with MADA Communications International S.A.L (Offshore), a licensed Voice and Data Communications Internet provider, to provide Internet services to an Internet Service Provider (ISP) and Mobile Network Operator (MNO) in Juba, South Sudan.

MADA provides multiple telecommunications services across Africa. This agreement is a multi-year operations contract which commenced on 28 October 2016. MADA has signed up for service on SES’s SES-5 satellite, specifically on a C-band Hemi beam with an 115Mbps Internet capacity linked through SES Betzdorf teleport facilities – a tier 1 Internet provider with extremely high service and teleport availability.
