U.S. Bank Names Sayantan Chakraborty Head of Product Management, Global Treasury Management

U.S. Bank, the nation’s fifth largest bank by assets, announced today that it has named Sayantan Chakraborty senior vice president and head of product management of its Global Treasury Management business.

In this role, Chakraborty will oversee the Global Treasury Management product management and development organizations. The Global Treasury Management business at U.S. Bank has been growing rapidly, building on a proactive approach to technology and engineering change at client companies through its innovative Working Capital DNA® Engagement process.

Chakraborty comes to U.S. Bank from Citibank N.A. where he was most recently a managing director in the Treasury and Trade Solutions group. During his 15-year career with Citi he held various leadership positions, including head of the North America payments business and head of client implementations. His experience includes senior roles in investment banking, wealth management and banking operations at Citi and other financial institutions. A former director on the board of NACHA, Chakraborty has been an advocate within the industry for some of the most important ongoing market initiatives, such as same-day ACH and real-time payments.

Chakraborty will be based in New York City.
