Wells Fargo Securities Names Christopher Harvey Head of Equity Strategy

Wells Fargo Securities’ (WFS) Global Research, Economics & Strategy division announced today that Christopher Harvey has been appointed the new head of Equity Strategy, reporting to Todd M. Wickwire and Sam Pearlstein, co-heads of Equity Research. Harvey will be responsible for establishing Wells Fargo Securities’ equity market outlook, including the S&P 500 index price target and earnings forecast, as well as sector weightings and recommendations, for institutional and corporate clients. Additionally, he will collaborate with the team’s fixed income and FX strategists as well as our macroeconomics team to develop and market actionable investment ideas to the firm’s clients.

He has held other strategist positions at State Street, Munich Re/MEAG and Weeden during his 20 year career as a macro and quantitative strategist. Harvey received his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from New York University.
