Wolters Kluwer’s CT Corporation Teams with Global Delaware and the Delaware Division of Libraries to Support Entrepreneurs and New Business Growth

Wolters Kluwer’s CT Corporation, a leading provider of business formation and legal compliance services, announced today that it has teamed up with Global Delaware and the Delaware Division of Libraries. Together, they will deliver online business incorporation and related services, such as business licenses to residents seeking to conduct business in Delaware. This is the first time that the State is making online business registration directly available.

Previously, residents looking to form an entity directly with the State had to file by mail or travel to a Division of Corporations office in Wilmington or Dover. With this new service, CT offers entrepreneurs the documents they need online, with easy, free access at their local public libraries.

“We are pleased to offer Delaware entrepreneurs the ability to form their business entities quickly, safely, cost-effectively, and online,” said Alan Stachura, Senior Manager of Government Relations at CT. “An important first step for any business is to ensure it starts with a successful foundation. When an entrepreneur is ready to register their business and as they grow it, our expertise as a trusted registered agent helps them thrive.” CT helps keep 1.6 million entities in compliance every year.

The new initiative is a valuable addition to the professional and entrepreneur resources that Delaware’s public library network has developed over the last several years.

“This collaboration puts a terrific resource in the hands of our residents,” said Rick Geisenberger, Delaware’s Chief Deputy Secretary of State. “It is exactly the direction we want to be headed in by supporting local companies looking to protect their ideas and create a business structure that will enable expanded growth and success here at home.”
