Synthèse conjoncturelle du 17 au 23 mai 2017 : L'euro continue de s'apprécier contre le dollar
Analyse synthétique des faits et chiffres marquants de la conjoncture économique mondiale du 17 au 23 mai 2017.
Pour la première fois depuis octobre 2016, l'euro a franchi le cap de 1,12 dollar. Cela s’explique surtout par un effet ciseau entre des perspectives américaines plus incertaines et des perspectives européennes plus favorables. Un effet qui apparait aussi dans l’écart entre les taux à 10 ans américain et allemand, ou dans les performances comparées de l’Euro Stoxx 50 et du S&P 500.
Aux Etats-Unis, le risque de déception domine même si la présentation du budget 2018 aujourd'hui restaurera peut-être un peu la confiance des marchés. En zone euro, l’embellie paraît se confirmer avec la décrue du risque politique suite à l’élection présidentielle française et une convergence des indicateurs européens vers plus d’optimisme.
A l’échelle mondiale, la croissance a plutôt déçu au premier trimestre 2017.
