Synthèse conjoncturelle du 1er au 7 novembre 2017 : Forte remontée des cours du pétrole

La remontée du cours du baril de pétrole a pris un tournant spectaculaire. Le baril de Brent s’échange au-dessus de 64$, le double par rapport au point bas (en moyenne mensuelle) de janvier 2016. Soumis à des aléas tant climatiques que géopolitiques, l'évolution du cours devrait rester heurté, en attendant un nouvel accord de l'Opep.
Une petite tension sur les prix des carburants est déjà perceptible aux Etats-Unis. Pour autant, la perception du risque inflationniste reste faible en l'absence d'accélération salariale. Les indicateurs européens indiquent pour leur part une forte résilience de la demande interne, soutenue notamment par les revenus d'activité.
