Synthèse conjoncturelle du 3 janvier 2018 - Le climat d''euphorie de la fin d'année 2017 se prolonge début 2018

A noter cette semaine :
Les premières observations économiques de 2018 restent dans le climat d’euphorie de la fin d'année 2017. L’indice PMI manufacturier mondial a battu en décembre un nouveau record depuis 2011.
Aux Etats-Unis, la confiance des ménages (Conference Board) reste élevée, les commandes nouvelles de biens durables s'améliorent, les prix des maisons progressent. En zone euro, l’indice PMI dans l’industrie manufacturière a battu en décembre son record historique. En France, les perspectives de production, les opinions sur le niveau des stocks et sur les carnets de commande dans l’industrie sont excellentes.
Dans ce concert de bonnes nouvelles, l’indice boursier mondial en dollar grimpe encore. Seules les places de la zone euro ont été affectées par l’appréciation de l’euro qui a franchi le cap de 1,20 dollar.
