Drax: Decision to End Coal Availability Will Have No Impact on Credit Ratings
In this commentary, we discuss Drax’s decision not to make its coal-fired generation plant available next winter. During the winter of 2022–23 it agreed to keep it on standby at the UK government’s request. In our view, this decision will not have any impact on the company’s credit ratings.
