Monthly Canadian Covered Bond Report: September 2020
Total outstanding covered bond increased to $265.5 billion (Canadian-dollar equivalent) in September 2020, up from $263.7 billion the prior month. During September 2020, there were two new issuances from Caisse centrale Desjardins du Quebec. Net growth in the covered bond market reached $100.1 billion year to date.
