Province of Ontario: Ontario's 2020 Fiscal Update
The Province of Ontario (Ontario or the Province) released a fiscal update yesterday in lieu of its customary spring budget as it grapples with the growing public health crisis and a severe contraction in economic activity. In recognition of the significant challenges facing the Province, the legislature passed the Economic and Fiscal Update Act, 2020 within hours of its introduction.
