The Impact of Spain’s Mortgage Law Reforms
On 21 February 2019, Spain’s parliament approved a set of reforms to the Spanish Mortgage Law, transposing into Spanish Law the European Mortgage Credit Directive that was approved in February 2014. DBRS discusses the impact of this law on Spanish RMBS transactions in this commentary.
