Shahjibazar Power Co. Limited produces electricity from natural gas and supply to Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) under a 15 year power purchase agreement for supply of power since 2009. The company was incorporated in November 04, 2007 and commenced commercial operation (COD) on February 10, 2009. The company has entered into Gas Supply Agreement

(GSA) with Jalalabad Gas Transmission and Distribution System Limited (JGTDSL) on April 9, 2008. The company became listed with both the bourses in the capital market of Bangladesh (DSE & CSE) in 2014. Along with its own business of power generation, it has handful investment through subsidiary and associate having oil refinery as well as power generation businesses.
