LafargeHolcim Bangladesh PLC. (LHB), previously known as Lafarge Surma Cement Limited (LSC), a joint venture of LafargeHolcim and Cementos Molins, is the only fully integrated cement manufacturer of Bangladesh along with three grinding plants. It is engaged in manufacturing and marketing cement, clinker and aggregates.LHB produces clinker and cement under the brand names Supercrete and Holcim at its Chhatak, Sunamganj plant, which is the only fully integrated dry-process cement plant in Bangladesh. It sources its primary raw material, limestone, from its own quarry in Meghalaya, India which is brought to the plant using 17-Kilometer-long conveyor belt. Currently it has 2 subsidiaries - Lafarge Umiam Mining Private Limited (100% Holding) and Lum Mawshun Minerals Private Limited (74% Holding).
