AcenciA Debt Strategies (ACD), a closed-ended investment company, provides exposure to a range of mainly debt-oriented strategies via a portfolio of carefully selected hedge funds. These managers are generally closed to new investment and actively seek to exploit both long and short opportunities with the potential to benefit from positive, negative or more volatile markets. ACD therefore provides a differentiated proposition with the option for a full capital return in January 2015. Co. invests in an actively managed portfolio of predominantly debt-oriented hedge funds. Co.'s investment portfolio consists primarily of fund of funds investment entities. These fund of funds entities, in turn invest in a diverse range of underlying hedge fund strategies that are principally debt related. Co.'s investment type include Bank Loans, Corporate Bonds, Distressed, Asset-backed securities and mortgage-backed securities, Public Equity, Private Equity, Arbitrage, and Other. Co.'s investment is managed by Saltus (Channel Islands) Limited. As of Dec 31 2016, Co.'s total investments portfolio was valued at US$80,344,663.
